Your First Appointment
Plan to spend about 1 to 2 hours with us during your first office visit. For a proper diagnosis, it is critical that we receive a complete copy of your medical records. These may come from your referring physician or from you directly. If there are any records you need to bring, we will remind you of those prior to your visit.
You also need to bring all of your insurance information and your Driver's License or ID card with you. You will complete new patient paperwork when you first arrive in the office and will need this information handy.
During your examination, you will be taken to an exam room for routine tests including blood pressure and pulse. We will review your medical history, allergy information, and surgical history. Once this information has been gathered, Dr. Sarabi will meet with you to perform a physical examination. Following the exam, he will discuss his findings with you and your family and recommend any further testing or treatment plans. Feel free to ask him any questions you may have at this time about your diagnosis or recommended next steps.
